  The House and Garden

The house is a spacious one, built thirty years ago by its caring builder owner.

It has a large residents lounge with attached dining area, French TV, some British TV, CD player, home library and a few games to finish off the day.

It has a pleasant entrance hall which leads to one of the four bedrooms, and then to the marble staircase which takes you upstairs to the other bedrooms

The Cassis bedroom, on the ground floor, has its own patio and garden bench. It has its own bathroom and W.C. The French doors make this a very light and airy room, complimented by its antique pine bedroom suite.
The Framboise bedroom is a large one with a King size antique pine bed, matching wardrobe and dressing table. Everyone comments that this is a very romantic room! Two windows, one looking on to a field at the side and the other looking on to the landscaped garden at the front, again make this a light room. It has its own dedicated  shower room with a separate W.C.
The Kiwi bedroom is our twin one, with a pleasant outlook to our landscaped front garden. The beds, bedside tables, mirror and accessories are all hand painted, which creates a light comfortable ambiance. This bedroom has its own newly created dedicated shower room and W.C.
In the Fraise bedroom we have chosen to retain the previous owners very romantic wallpaper. Again the bed and accessories are hand painted, which gives it a homely feel. It has its own ensuite bathroom and W.C. and as with all the other bedrooms, hairdryers are supplied.

A small fold down chair/bed, or cot can be supplied on request for all bedrooms.

The main garden surrounding the house, is beautifully landscaped. It has three small fountains and a fish pond with a stone bridge.

Behind our car park, there is a large enclosed grassy area with polytunnel greenhouse, various fruit trees, and a fruit cage with raspberry, bramble, gooseberry and blackcurrant bushes. Ideal for our homemade jams and tarts.

There are several patios and sitting areas to enjoy that glass of wine, or cool beer. There is a large brick built barbecue and an open steel one available for guests’ use.

We have a large car park and a large hanger should you want your car undercover.
